A Sanctuary World that has suffered constant cataclysms
People are often advised not to move into a notoriously rough neighbourhood. Even entire clans are warned away from building their huts too close to the base of that smoking, rumbling mountain, especially as it's starting to smell a bit like eggs. The Rasharians of Rintaria, however, were in trouble from the get-go, having the misfortune of being born onto a world officially classified by London's Royal Infomarium as "tectonically bananas".
Found in the distant outlands of the Realm of Wolves, Rintaria became known as the Broken Cloister after one of its many planetquakes shook the world enough to break its core into a network of porous caverns, crevasses, and cloisters now roamed by the unearthly Graven Monks. While many Rasharians fled the cataclysm (having been granted space travel in part due to the Monks' desire to go about committing genocide on planets which looked at them funny) the religious order remained. The stony monks bedded down in their echoing tunnels to practice ritual sacrifices and occasionally feed their lava eels.
